Does anyone have a good management contact at Qantas to resolve an issue?

For want of a better term an anomoly has crept into the QF/EK arrangements that needs to be sorted out.

Back in about 2020 Emirates and other Middle Eastern carriers, and probably others moved destinations in Africa (including Cairo) to the Piece system instead of the weight/kg allowance system - but Qantas are still on the weight/kg system to these destinations. If you are travelling to say Cairo on an EK ticket with EK flight numbers then it works without any hiccups. But if you are travelling on a QF ticket and wish to purchase additional baggage for the flight home then you are stuffed because your Qantas ticket has a weight limit in kg but Emirates don't have in their system the ability to buy extra baggage in kg from Cairo to Sydney because their system from Cairo to Sydney is per piece rather than KG - even at the airport in Cairo their system won't allow them to generate a price for buying additional baggage. Its probbaly something that only effects a handful of Qantas customers, but it is something that I need to get sorted out.

Does anyone have an appropriate contact at Qantas?

An interesting dilemma. Sorry, no number to offer to you but would this same challenge apply also to the US-AU connections where you swap between piece vs weight allowances? How have the US airlines solved this with QF?

Qantas offers piece rate to the U.S. - not entirely sure what the arrangement is that they have with AA - others here will know. I've only ever taken large amounts of luggage to/from LAX not further.
