Does Golf in Europcar Fleet has Cruise Control?

Hi

I am wanting to hire a VW Golf from Europcar during my stay in Melbourne. As I will be taking the car on a country trip on the Great Ocean Drive, I really want a car with Cruise Control. I spoke to a very nice lady from the Europcar Reservations on the phone earlier. Unfortunately her computer database does not show the VW Golf has cruise control capability. Now obviously, this does not necessarily mean that it won't have but she just couldn't guarantee it based on what her computer screen is showing her.

I am hoping members here who might have taken out a Golf from Europcar, might share their experience?

The last one I had was a 90TSI and it had it, being the base model I imagine they all have it.

Golf I rented from Europcar in Brisbane last October had cruise control. Can't recall exact model. Nice little car.

Thanks all for your replies. I have changed from the Hyundai Elantra (which is listed with Cruise Control) to the Golf, for only $10 more over a 7-days hire. Looking forward to it.

Elantra is a good car for granny in comparison to the Golf. Enjoy.

Just had one up in CNS for 7 days it was a MkVII 90tsi cruise/great Bluetooth connectivity, great on fuel 38litres for 659Km had only 32km on the clock too.
