DOHA Best one world options

Hi,

I need to go to DOHA on a personal trip. I would prefer OW alliance. What are the best options from Melb?

Any important tips? Should I route through DXB?

Depends when you are doing the trip.

Before April I would be suggesting using QF to Bangkok and then RJ to AMM and on wards from there, not sure if they fly to DOHA.

After April then Emirates may be an option if the code share is approved.

You could fly on Cathay MEL-xHKG-BAH.

Then fly on BA BAH-DOH. Sometimes the first class fares are quite cheap so it can be a good status run. Despite being only 123km you still earn 60 SC per leg.
