Hi everyone,

I'm a reasonably long time lurker (recently joined the forum), and was hoping someone could answer a quick question:

I have booked a return business class flight from BNE<->MEL flying Qantas, using Cathay Asia Miles points. I was wondering if this means I will be eligible to use the Business Lounge for both flights? It would be helpful, because I am flying after work, and the dinner/shower facilities would be great.

Thanks in advance! If this is the case, I'll be posting in the "April 2011" thread (can host 1 guest into the lounge at MEL).

As Danger says - yes you do have access.

It's a benefit of the class of travel, not how you got into that class of travel (excepting certain tickets like staff travel of course!)

Cheers! Thanks for the quick replies :D. *ducks off to the April 2011 thread*

It's worth noting that it was only a few (maybe five or six) years ago that flying domestic J on QF got you no lounge access whatsoever. You had to have paid QP/SG/WP to get entry. Anyway, that's in the past - enjoy your flying and lounging. :)

You can access the Qantas Club or Business Lounge, but note that your guest must also be travelling on a Qantas marketed and operated flight.
