Made a booking tonight SYD/MEL/SYD using the Current $79 sale.

Noticed the CC fee charged was down to $7. It was $7.70 most recently.

Now I know bank fees and the like are exempt from GST - perhaps QF had a ruling about this?

Actually, on closer look it may be the CC fee is included int the indicated ticket total fees.

GST ruling seems likely.

But it does kind of bring them inline with Virgin, which is $3.50 per segment, so $7 for a return. Of course, this is only in general terms as Virgin charge per segment and qantas per booking.

Just did a dummy booking SYD-BNE r/t in July and nothing seems different, serfty.

On the Payment page, the $7.70 doesn't get added until I click on a radio button specifying what type of credit card I have. As soon as I do this, $7.70 is added to the cost.

We all know that it has been $7.70 per booking per passenger for a while now.

I don't believe it has changed. E-ticket receipts show $7, but there is 70c included for it in the GST amount.
