It's going to get that little bit more expensive to change tickets around...

Effective 1 Sept, the change fee is increasing from $44 to $50 for domestic Red-e-deals and Super Savers.

Absurd! It won't be long when it will be cheaper to buy a new ticket than change flights around.

By the way when did the change fee become $44? I changed a ticket recently and I think it was only $38.50. I could be wrong though....

It's been $44 since 5th September Last year.

Fully Flexible No Fee No Fee

It's been $44 since 5th September Last year.
So a 13.64% increase less than 12 months later.

I wish my salary increased in line with all the increases to goods and services....

Meh, something had to give.

Besides, most Red e-Deals are uneconomical to change anyway, and then there are very few times where you really, really need to change them and the money wouldn't be the first thing on your mind anyway.

Wouldn't agree there. Change fees are a typical feature of major carriers. At least they havent gone for non-refundable and non-changeable yet

Dave

And they're still much cheaper than what it costs you to change on US carriers!
