I notice on my booking that my domestic MEL-SYD flight is listed as operated by "Virgin Australia International".

Would there be anything different from a normal domestic flight that I'd need to be aware of?

From what I can tell it's still the standard 737 and departing from the Domestic terminal, however the fact that this information is included on my itinerary has made me wonder why they'd tell me unless something was going to be different.

Edit: nevermind, just saw the existing thread: Domestic Flights operated by VA international

And checking on flight radar, this particular aircraft sometimes does Trans-Tasman and Bali flights.

Think it’s all the 737s on the New Zealand AOC. But they still rotate the odd flight around Oz

They all have Australian VH- registrations so I doubt that is the reason.

No difference from a customer point of view and that is all that really matters...
