Have four upcoming domestic J B738 flights. At time of booking selected row 2 (dropped to LTG), first two flights alone and following two with partner. At T-80 checked allocation and had none but 1F was available so took it. Checked further and seat allocation for all other flights gone. I was able to select for one flight but not the other two. Is this a common issue and need to frequently check allocation.
As a single to/from OOL I suspect couples have gazumped me on my solo flights but cannot understand the two flights where there are two of us on booking.

Seems odd. Almost always a seat allocation will hold unless an aircraft swap or something like that happens (doesn't seem the case here). Does seem odd to lose an allocation.

A couple putting in requests wouldn't be able to move you, even if higher status, without some direct intervention from QF imo. Unsure what may or may not be going on.

Frustrating.

Not sure but I did ool Syd mel a few times and quite a few crew as quite a lot live in OOL and commute down…have seen seat selection not available a few times but if you try choose at time of booking it usually sticks

P.S. pls don’t get to lounge too early! It gets packed in the afternoon and have taken calls standing at the desk near the entrance with standing room only. I try to time arrival very close to boarding

Was this on the App. or desktop browser?

Bookings and original seat selection done on QF website. Seat allocation remains unavailable for one flight now but T-80 is Friday so I’ll see what happens.

No problem. I have a booking SIN-xBNE-MEL in Business coming up with seats selected this shows on the website although I cannot change seating on the BNE-MEL segment as all seats are now allocated or blocked for me.

The app shows I no longer have seat selections, contrary to the desktop.

Just checked and seats for 5 Mar flight for 2 of us have now disappeared with no choice except generic window/aisle. Return leg is still has seats allocated.

As at today Qantas web my bookings show no seat allocation for both upcoming flights with no option to select. Qantas app show seats allocated for both flights. I wonder which is correct.
