As I said in an earlier thread I can't work out how to book JQ35 as QF 267 problem 1 - problem 2 is if I fly down on a Tuesday whats the corrosponding flight to return later in the week as an afternoon flight to take advantage of the F service is there a return on Thursday, Friday or Saturday afternoon to SYD

I don't thnk you can book it via the QF website as a normal flight, I've tried before. however you can book it as JQ35 and access the F lounge. That one does work.

Ok well thats what I have done for the past 5 times - just thought it was possible to book it as QF- the staff say its possible but don't tell you how. Now that JQ have the QF option its not that big a deal, but I just checked in with a 26kg bag (its a PC etc) and forgot that it was still JQ rules (even though I had upgraded to the QF package) so I had to pay $90 for extra checked bagage...as I say I need to get better ast this :(

a TA might be able to book it, but it definately doesn't appear on the QF website, and hasn't ever. The only exception I have seen this is on the NAN run it'll sometimes book you on JQ35 but with the QF number.

mmm Ok well I will check with my TA - I have now been delayed another hour - so JQ35 or QF267 I guess its little differenet - except for the $90 bagage!

Firstly, the list of flights (in PDF/XLS) that do DOM runs from INT terminals can be found in this thread:

The author informs me it the files might not be as up-to-date as he likes, but it still acts as a good enough guide for these purposes.

On your specific scenario, you're only option is to book the JQ30 which departs at Midday Friday. Details of the flight as follows:

[KVS Availability Tool 6.1.6/Platinum - Amadeus: Timetable/NL-BCDF]
Code:
MEL Melbourne Metro / Tullamarine VI AU = MEL AVV [YMML]
SYD Sydney Kingsford Smith NS AU [YSSY]
MON 06 Jun 2011 - 13 Jun 2011

Carrier Flight From Depart To Arrive A/C St Frequency | Dur'n | Dep T | Arr T | Effect | Ending | Exceptions
--------- ------ ---- -------- ---- -------- --- -- ----------------------------------------------------------------
JQ 30 MEL 12:00 SYD 13:25 332 0 ----5-- 01:25 2 1 20 May 30 Sep

To book these flights, you're best of using the JQ website. I've had no problems seeing availability (currently 4 seats on all flights in next 30 days) , and price is AUD369 for Business (no points), and another AUD80 for Business Max.
