I know this is dying out now for QF but from BNE yesterday I took a colleague of mine who isn't a FF member into the priority line with me. She's on the same flight as me...

I was told that she wasn't actually allowed to use the priority line but they'd process her anyway...

Now i don't travel with colleagues often but I thought if they were traveling with you, you could use the priority line together?

Strictly speaking she's right, since it's not in the rules and you aren't on the same booking (assumed).

Most will process you anyway just like your experience; most will even not mention so much as a peep, but some will.

If you were on the same booking, there should probably be no qualms about both of you being in the priority line.

I've frequently taken work colleagues who are both on separate bookings and don't have status or QP membership through the priority line, and have never been questioned.
