Okay, this probably violates all sorts of forum rules, but I'm the sort of lass who just doesn't care.

For those of you who aren't following this thread, come double-FLounging on 21 July. It would be practically criminal not to.

Great way to end this benefit...you might care then:shock:

Wearing out one's welcome by drinking your weight in bubbles whilst paying a pittance perhaps?

(yes I am jealous at not being able to join!!);)

I could put in a leave request, but considering the track record, it’s not likely I’d be approved. Double Flounge is right up my street now too!

All the airlines have been very receptive of AFF members in the past, I think they acknowledge we are not representative of the flying community in general, its not like this is a weekly or even monthly occurrence.

It's getting close to 6 monthly.

As I'm currently considering close on 24 hours (not all at once) in the F lounge in August, I doubt the required approvals can be obtained for July.

Not to worry I'm sure they just want to get numbers sorted for the day :)

Interesting that the airfare will be less than the passenger service charge:

Please note the following changes/additions/deletions which will become effective:

For Sale On/After 15 June 2012
For Travel On/After 01 July 2012

Name - Passenger Service Charge
Code - WY
Sydney International WY has been Increased

New Amount AUD 25.92
Old Amount AUD25.58

Doubt the airlines care if you use the lounge for lounge runs now and then as to start with, you've already flown enough 'legit' flights to get to platinum anyway and secondly, you're filling up 2 seats (albeit at discounted prices) that would otherwise be empty :) I'd say the red roo would love it if everyone just flew somewhere for no other reason to fly - good way to get some bottoms on seats :)
