Double points offer

Most surprised, had a recent stay with 3,200 qualifying points, posted today with 6,400+ and I realised the Double points offer applied to the qualifying points, should have realised but did not, would have booked another couple of stays before 31st July if I had realised it
Not easy requalifying for platinum and doubt I will

I have somehow managed to qualify Gold but still a long way from Platinum.

This is where it gets confusing.

I thought the changes earlier in the year were that only base points were going to count towards status.
