Morning! How long do double status credits take to be added to account? Took some flights on the weekend, have been credit points and status at normal rate and just wondering how long I should wait for the bonus status before chasing. Cheers!

I have a question regarding this, sometimes I get 'double status points' and I have no idea why?

I am just a lowly Silver FF - is that some sort of promotion to all Q FF's or what?

You've been blessed by the magic DSC fairy! No-one knows how she works, but enjoy her favour :)

They seem to arrive about three months out from renewal, but how you get selected appears to be based on the reading of chicken entrails by Yield Management type people, to guess whether it would result in more bookings on QF with one.

My status points took about a week to appear.

I've waited for over a week now for my DSC to be posted. Now I'm thinking that the flight may not be a "new" booking since I'd booked it using a voucher (with a PNR already) and so is not eligible for DSC? Before I call QF, just wondering if anyone else is/has been in a similar situation?

Credit vouchers are not new bookings.

Oh sorry, I should have clarified that it was a partially unused gift voucher...

That should be fine, however there have been reports you need to ring to get them credited as the system thinks they are an existing booking.
