The question for me is whether it is worth it as you cant really redeem the points except for domestic flights, and not that much travelling is available with the pandemic on... and the future of virgin is not 100% certain to be safe at this time

I agree - not a particularly compelling offer giving the current state of VA and, well, the uncertainty around state borders.

That said, I need to use up the free flight that comes with my ANZ credit card in the next few weeks anyway. Perhaps I should register for this promo and book the flight during the offer period, just in case it qualifies?
