Certainly not luxury, more the style of $70 a night motels in country NSW. Very clean, good shower and free WIFI. TV a no go in our room & extra night door lock was busted. Short walk to downtown that revealed what seemed to be a higher than usual proportion of dropouts.
Found the Trianagle bar to be a top spot for a beer & had bar food (chinese) at Zens that was excellent.
Only a 1 night stay & the excellent free transfer to from the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry terminal probably saved us 50% of what we paid for the night at the hotel.
