Drop off parking at premium lounge entry

I regularly use Sydney airport and Mrs Up&Away comes into the lounge for a drink - we never stay for more than an hour or so, but every trip has about a fifteen dollar surcharge to Mrs Up&Away for parking.

if Virgin allowed (select) guests to park in the lounge premium entry valet parking bays (often empty off peak) for an hour or less, it would represent a significant advantage over QF for me departing Sydney...

I don't know what it looks like in peak hour, but it could just be off peak if necessary.

Could easily see the benefit causing issues with congestion down the track, I think the short term parking charge helps keep the lounges free.
