Strange as it might seem I've never worried about getting flight upgrades before - as long as the cameras and lenses (most important) and myself arrive intact at the other end I'm happy. But now that I'm learning a bit more about the upgrade process on here I've decided that I might as well find out the devil in the details and ride more comfortably:D

If someone could answer the following for me I would appreciate it -

Is there a table somewhere that lists the points spend used for upgrades booked at time of booking and On-Departure upgrades?

I know that when you book an upgrade you only get SC's and FF miles for the class originally booked, but does the same apply for On-Departure upgrades? (the QFF terms and conditions don't specify either way).

There's no difference between an ODU and an "in-advance" upgrade other than the time at which you do it.
