Earn up to 36000 QFF points using Superhero

Until April 30, 2023 if you sign up for a broking account with Superhero there is an opportunity to earn some bonus points fairly easily. Here’s how to rack up some bonus points – note you don’t need to do all of these things, you can do fewer than the total listed but will earn less than the full 36,000 QFF points:

1) Link your QFF number to your Superhero account = 1000 points.

2) Undertake 10 full priced brokerage trades ($5 each for the brokerage) on the ASX = 10,000 points (1000 points per trade).

3) Transfer $20,000 worth of your existing shares to your Superhero account and wait 120 days = 20,000 points.

4) Purchase at least US$10 worth of US shares = 5,000 points

Please consider using my referral link when you sign up (you will receive US$10 worth of Tesla shares and I will receive the same if you use my link below):

Superhero: Your Money. Your Move.

(I note that some of this information has already been discussed in this thread: Earn 10K Qf points doing 10 trades ($50 in total) using Superhero Trading acct)

Full terms of the bonus point offers can be found here:

Superhero Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) Terms and Conditions

FYI, so far I have done points 1, 2 and 4 as above for a total cost of around $51 for 16,000 points. Including setting up the account, the entire process took around 20 mins.

This has already been clearly acknowledged in the discussion about the current offer. But I'm not sure why this would be relevant if you only intend to apply to get the points. Buy and sell immediately.

Thats fair. It's what... $50 in brokerage fees for 10,000 Qantas points. The rest of the points cost nothing. It's a great offer.

All but option 3 are interesting. Option 3 i'm less sure about. The CHESS thing is low risk in the short term but still a risk. More of a faff might be the transfer to and away from them. I presume this means i need to change ownership from my HIN theirs. If so, does change of ownership away from my HIN to Superhero constitute as a CGT event?

I’ve done the transfer for something I was going to sell anyway but that’s on pause for obvious reason - but no hurry.

Haven‘t seen the points yet (coming up to a week or more now). Whereas the link to QF was only a day or so.

As an aside, the B2B transfer was *very* fast compared to other CHESS sponsors I have.

Those taking more than a week for points to credit, what did you end up doing? Almost a week for me since US purchase and no points credited either (activity on Superhero app shows bonus points awarded).

Only a couple of more days to go for this offer, realistically you'd have to have completed the ASX trades by 4pm Friday to be eligible for the Australian trades component of the offer, and early Saturday morning for the US component.

I used a random referral link in this thread to sign up and went through the process of completing the activities for 16,000 QFF points and took around 30 mins to do + the $50 in brokerage fees so bit of a no brainer for me.

Here's my link for anyone thinking of signing up (we both get $10 of Tesla shares):

Yep, just received 20k but for a transfer I made back in mid March. The QFF activity states transfer on 24 Apr.
I ended up getting 29k QFF points!

If I keep using it, there's still some trailing points earn on cash AUD-USD transfers and transactions. I'm unlikely to have too much in holding in SH. Just need to work out how to get stuff out and into my NabTrade AUD and USD accounts now!

Received an offer of 10k QFF pts if I transfer in 10k AUD of Oz shares. Could be handy if going to sell something?
