According to the Velocity website, you can now earn points when flying around Australia on Fly Pelican. Earning rates vary by fare class and $ spent.

You can't redeem points on Fly Pelican, though.

Oh darn it.... I flew Fly Pelican a month ago on their most flexible fare.... Missed out on 800 VA points!

I even wrote a Trip Report about it here in AFF. Pretty good experience.

I wondered if VA read it and decided to contact Fly Pelican for partnerships.
