Hello

I am in process of booking ticket for my family coming to Syd on QF. I was wondering if I book the flights can I get the FF points added or can I earn only if I spend on ticket for myself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

APSP

The person travelling is the one who earns the QFF points not the person purchasing the tickets.

That being said if they are family then you can transfer ther QFF points to one account as per the terms and conditons of the QFF program.

Where is your family flying from? Some programs let you to earn off everyone’s tickets, but within Australia that’d be a no. You should however look at signing them all up for whatever frequent flyer program there is for that airline, and in the future you could then transfer the points they earned to your account ;)

You will however earn the points from spending for the tickets on your credit card ;)

Hi APSP,

As JohnK has stated, points are only earned individually, and can not be pooled to one membership.

If you have not got memberships for your family members, go down to Woolworths (if possible) and pick up a couple of everyday rewards cards. A perk of this card is that you get a free Qantas Frequent flyer membership.

This part is not really relevant as the OP is flying/booking QF and can only 'pool' QFF points after the flights have credited to QFF.
