I've been using the QF milage and status calculator to do some long range planning on my trips, in hopes of jumpstarting my lifetime status with QF. However, I notice that a number of routes I'm considering are not inside the calculator. For instance, the route Toronto, Canada (YYZ) to Boston, MA (BOS) only provides me with WestJet as an option despite American flying nonstop out of the Big Lemon twice daily. Similarly, flying Seattle, WA (SEA) to Detroit, MI (DTW) on Alaskan does not show up on the calculator.

So my questions are as follows:
  • Will QFF be able to track and calculate the milage and status credits on such routes given they are being flown by an alliance member airline?
  • What frame of reference (i.e. chart) should I use to make a determination on status credits I would earn?
Cheers,
