Flying to LAX from BNE tomorrow and was hoping that they would open the Economy Space plus seats up to Gold members similar to the front rows on domestic flights but with no luck... Lots available but all at $155 each person!

Anyone had luck with getting moved to these at the check-in desk at the airport?

Do they open them to gold or platinums if not sold?

I know nothing about the Economy Space Plus seats but they may just be worth the extra.

Yep, can confirm I had seat selected right down the back on VA2 when I purchased the ticket but upon checkin at LAX I was reassigned to Economy Space+. But since this is still a non-published benefit it looks like this practice is based on load.
