EK Appearing Disappearing

Just wondering if i'm losing my mind.

I was looking last night for a replacement for my SYD - LHR on 05/10/2023 with BA

Searching last night I saw Cathay pop up which now is only avail by going through another option in europe first (and arriving late at night there so no chance to hop on to uk)

EK was showing up on a few options last night when it hadnt been there previously and now has diappeared again, any thoughts on whats going on? Am I likely to see it 'pop up' again!?

Any other thoughts on how to get Australia -> UK on 05/10/2023 in business are more than welcome most of the combinations I have thought to try are coming back negative. (departure date has no flex, unfortunately, has to be 5th)

Are you meaning reward points flights? If so sounds like the seat(s) on EK were gobbled up between the time you saw and then looked again possibly. These things tend to go quickly when they are released. That's all I can think of.

try all the usual tricks of multi city searches and out of the box thinking (say ADL-DOH-xx_ on QR, or going via CMB on UL and so on).
