Sorry if this is covered somewhere else but do QF allow an electric razor in carry on luggage?

Never had a problem - domestic and international.

Yes no problems, and most normal razors are OK too. The only ones you are not allowed are the old school barber style ones as they're an open blade.

Depends if you use it to try and impess a flight attendant.

Wait for the 2nd date and you'll be ok is my experience.

Is that across the board Tony? I don't want to be forced to throw it out at security (here or O/S).

Yeah, no problems in any of the countries I have visited or transited through. That includes, Argentina, Brazil, NZ, Australia, UK, Spain, Singapore, USA, Thailand, UAE, and Hong Kong over the last 12 months.

Cheers Tony.
My old Braun electric broke down and l just purchased a new one, didn't want it getting taken off me.

Cheers Tony.

Same thing happened to me. My old Braun lasted a decade so I want to hang onto the new one :)

The future Mrs Chriscunard is asking now if the same can be said for tweezers?

I use a normal Schick safety razor and always carry one in my hand luggage. Never had a problem anywhere. It's only open blades or something spear-like such as a metal nail file that will cause problems.

Tweezers are also okay as long as neither end is pointed. Hard to imagine what damage you could do to someone with an Electric Razor! One of the odd things I have always found is that you can travel with a Pentel retracting pencil in your hand luggage which could do a lot of damage to someone if not only used as a pencil!
