I normally don’t see much use in this “benefit” for Accor members with elite status, as usually the hotel puts in a rate that only those on mind altering substances would book, such as $7xx_ a night at the Mercure in Warragul or an Ibis in Sydney. Imagine my shock at seeing an Ibis (not budget) offering a Plat Guarantee rate of $25 a night for three nights, needless to say I booked. Now I just have to come to terms with the Valet parking rate being three times the room rate,

Is this in Australia or overseas?

A little pricey (if you ask me), having stayed at a Sebel in Auckland for ~$20 NZD/night (including breakfast):

Helps a lot when you’re spending $50 at the Ibis Budget. 5th and final boost will be this weekend.
