Does requalifying for Platinum membership mean that you are eligible for another year's complimentary car rental and hotel partner membership or are these benefits only provided the one-time when you first qualify for Platinum membership?

Australia's highest-earning Velocity Frequent Flyer credit card: Offer expires: 30 Apr 2025

If you re-qualify the same status level, then no. If you change level then yes.

The benefits are a one off offer on attainment of the level, not requal. That once off currently applies on every attainment.

Thanks. Shame there's no where to go after reaching Platinum and re-qualifying.
After taking a WP match I dropped last year due to lack of flights with VA. The HH Gold and ICH Gold choice became available.

Earlier this year I opted for the ICH gold. Subsequently I requalified WP and now have the relevant options available again.

Not sure what you mean by a "WP Match" but are you saying that if you fall back to GOLD and then subsequently re-qualify for PLATINUM you get the perks back again?

You get the perts when you attain that level, by either soft landing or flying, so a status matched Plat who went to Gold gets them again at Gold level, starts flying more and achieves Plat, and gets to pick again.

It's funny how they have basically given you an incentive not to requalify for platinum ie to maintain Hilton Gold at least for a year
