Hi All, As those who attended the drinks in Perth last noght are aware, i am flying to MAN next week in WHY with SWMBO and reeggiejnr. Selected my seats ages ago when we booked, to get the row off three next to the window so junior can watch out the window.

Anyway the missus comes home today, and says a bloke at work said his parents flew in the top deck of an Emirates A380 in WHY. Now I haven't seen a an Emirates flight with Y on the upper deck. Has anyone seen this?

To my knowledge, there are a couple of different configurations, but they all share the same basic design of F/J upper deck and whY lower deck.

Whilst I've never flown 'em, seat maps at seatguru.com and the EK website support the Y = lower deck theory!

I believe SQ do have an economy section upstairs on their 380.

Perhaps your friend may be a tad confused?
