From Kiwi Flyer's post, Emirates dragged down QF and NZ fares. For QF/OW frequent flyers, Qantas would be obvious choice. On the other hand, Air NZ appeals to *A FF. I haven't tried the Emirates product. Would try one day.

I haven't checked what the fare class is, but I dare say the Air NZ fares may earn only on their Airpoints program, and not on any other *A carriers...

With AirNZ you get SP's (30 each way)

EK give Skywards PAX 700 base plus any status bonus each way

QF give standard points based on mile + status bonus and 20 SC's each way.

This is for economy travel on these fares.

EK give Skywards PAX 700 for the trip

EK gives 700 base and tier miles on a saver fare each way plus also gives 350/700 status bonuses to silver/gold members bringing total earning to 1050/1400 for silver/gold

For those booking a saver business on Emirates, will earn 1750 base and tier miles plus status bonuses bringing it up t0 2100/2450 for silver/gold

If booking 1st class saver would come to 2800 base and tier plus status bonuses bringing up to 3150/3500
