In the a ASX release from Virgin Australia it is stated that phase three of the rebrand with be the "enhancement of V Australia" (Soon to be Virgin Australia).

Does this mean new interiors for the 777-300ER fleet? Upper class style seating in business? Fleet expansion? Opening of international lounges?..............Star Alliance?

VEry likely just a reshuffle of the interior colours to reflect Han's new vision.....white is pure, purple is warm....i get paid to make vague statements etc.....

It will be interesting to see those 777-300ER's in the new Virgin Australia colours :D, for those who don't know, V Australia, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue will all come under the 1 brand on January 1st 2012.

No details yet but V has raised a "refreshment" since the May re-branding. Unknown if it's seat covers or something more drastic.

Last I heard the first 777 should be re-painted early next year during a heavy check.

VA reps...I wanted to point out to you that on the V Australia website in the 777 walkthrough, under the wine & dine section in Economy it says alcoholic drinks are additional purchase after the 1st one...this changed some time ago to all complimentary in economy - it may be beneficial to have the website updated to reflect this...it may influence some peoples decisions!

My wife and son recently returned from LA on a VA business class flight. There were two noticeable "enhancements": The pajamas were nicer, didn't have the drawstrings at the bottom of the pants and (according to her) were of a better quality overall. And the amenity kit she got was contained in a large messenger bag instead of the little kit.

I flew late June and got the old PJs and the small kit. Frankly I probably wouldn't notice with the PJs but the messenger bag is pretty cool.
