I'm currently sitting at the back of the hall in Sydney Qantas Club near the ( empty ) kids area enjoying my last ham sandwich before tomorrow it all changes............

After an arduous routine of Y flights all over OZ + the added SC double up I've gone from a lonely bronze in Feb this year to taking my first flight from Brisbane to Sydney tomorrow as a Platinum FF. Any chance of a smile from the hosting now I'm in the elite club

Well just about to head to board my last flight before becoming a WP.

Cheers to all the input from team AFF, getting me to play the game - If anyone needs a leg up to Dom Y I'll start adding my flights to the other thread. I fly to Melb, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane at least once a month.

Unreal, just boarded QF 532 to Brisbane and not only got 4a, but for the first time they offered business platinum and gold to board before calling general boarding. About time too.

I have noticed this happening more and more often these days. Although so far in my experience, the general boarding call has gone out less than a minute after premiums. But anyway - a step in a good direction!

I hope you mentioned it to the crew on boarding. When I did that on my qualifying and subsequent first leg as a Platinum I got a bottle of wine from them on each occasion!
