you can do a cash plus miles deal at very cheap buy rates and there is very little of the qantas horendous taxes.
and its a full flat bed !!
I cant consider the A380 j a fully flat.
AND you can usually get a seat within reason!

AUH-BOM in Diamond First on the new B787 (commences on that route from January 1st) will be around 12-13,000 MR-points one way if you use Etihad's cash+miles option. Pretty good use of points if you're in the region.
