I am looking at travelling to the UK and have seen quite good prices with Etihad. Has anyone travelled on this airline and what was it like?

This is my somewhat pitiful trip report for my flights earlier this month in J.

have travelled on them on 8 sectors in last few months.

Positives:

-catering - adequate choices and plenty of it, metal cutlery, 2 meals on even 6 hr sectors. Once however was given 2 minute noodles as a meal.
-IFE - some older aircraft have Collins IFE but newer A330s and 777s have eX2.
-amenity kits in long haul
-good seat pitch and width, and the 10 breast 777 didnt feel cramped at all.
-VA FF program partner, Platinum recognition on board.
-crew generally positive and
-Abu Dhabi is a well equipped transit stop- though not as good as say Changi

Negatives

- well not much.......

Thanks sounds good, not to feel cramped is a big bonus. They will have to take back the noodles if they even try to give them to me as they make me ill even the smell gets to me but I am sure skipping one meal will do me no harm at all, there is still plenty of meat of these bones. ;)
