Etihad's Diamond First promotion ends July 31. Fares in F to all EY European points at AUD$7633 incl taxes and chauffeur services at either end. Named Best Business Cabin again by Skytrax, not sure how the first rates - feedback?

Some agents offering $7200 incl.

I've flown EY in J and loved every second of it, fantastic product, exceptional service and delicious anytime menu.

I can only assume F is going to provide you with a slightly better seat and increased level of service.

To be honest, not sure it's worth the extra until they roll out their new F product (if you haven't seen it, you must check it out, its amazing and would put any other F product to shame, but unfortunately it's not going to be on the AU network until next year at the earliest.

You can view the new Diamond First Class at New Diamond First Class. More luxury, comfort and privacy

Info on the current Diamond F product is at Diamond First class

It's a personal preference and depends how big the gap is price wise between business and first and what you're looking to get for your money.

Hope that helps.

PS. If you do want it, shop around, you should be able to get it for under $7200.

Looks nice, a bit like SQ's Suites.

The bathroom looks a bit strange though.... funny camera lens?

I personally think it looks better than the SQ offering, but will have to wait until I get an inspection once its fitted on the AU aircraft to decide.

The J cabin has a 'loo with a view', quite cool especially during daytime flights.

If you have the cash that seems like a great deal, less than what J used to cost 18 months ago. Never tried EY F to comment though on what its like but i would its very good.
