Just received my new Europcar membership card and letter.
Given all my rentals were normal run of the mill qualifying rentals (confirmed on my Europcar summary page) and did equal ten entirely separate (non consecutive) hires, I doubt the sincerity of their second sentence.
So far, I've phoned them 3 times (without success), left voice mail detailing problem, name member number and requesting phone/email response (no response as of yet, but I'm reliably informed hell is yet to freeze over so I remain hopeful), emailed them once (awaiting reply) and have been informed that Europcar lass A (who can't help) has emailed Europcar lass B (who can help but is pretending to be be the three wise monkeys all wrapped up in one) and Europcar lass B has a history of not returning calls or replying to emails.
How difficult can counting to ten be?
This year, your car hire activity has decreased below the frequency required for the Privilege Executive level (10 car hires or 40 days).
We are sending you a new Privilege card at Club level and will update your tier level as soon as you reach the Executive qualifying credits again.
