I just noticed this on the Europcar web site, which claims they will status match. It also claims "Priority Collection - Express service on pick up" which is often unadulterated BS, so as per usual YMMV!

I had Privilege Executive (from VA). Sent an email with a screenshot of my Hertz President Circle asking for a status match to Elite. Didn't even expect a reply but got one quite quickly with a "no worries we've status matched you to Elite." Never received a new card, welcome pack or a free weekend on tier upgrade. Have emailed to follow up on that.
