Here's a puzzle for those on this FF program. I was led to believe (from the email promotions) that a spend of $130 at Woolworths/ Big W and payment with an Amex card would earn you 230 points...130 for the Amex card and 100 points for the $130 from the Everyday Card.
I looked at my points tally but and don't see this "double dipping" as the promotion called it. Maybe I'm missing something?
Also, I see cigarette purchases (cartons) do not count for either Everyday Rewards (which we were told about last week) or Amex use...is that right? Has that got something to do with the Amex link to the Everyday Rewards?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers

That's odd... I'm certainly getting the 'double dipping'. With the Amex earning 1.5 points per dollar, a $130 spend at Woolworths with the Everyday Rewards card linked to FF, would give 295 points (100 from Everyday rewards, 195 from Amex).

Am a non-smoker, so can't help with the other part of your question ! :)

Spending $130 on non-tobacco goods at a woollies on an Amex should earn 130 or 195 MR points (Depending on the amex card) and 100 QFF points directly onto you linked QFF account.

There is no particular link between Amex and Everyday Rewards, however they both run reward programs that can yield Qantas Frequent Flyer points.

For a $130 purchase on your Amex card you will get

100 points from the Everyday Rewards card
130 points from your Amex card

These will be tracked separately - EDR will track your Everyday reward points, and Amex you Amex points.

Double dipping does not mean that you will get another 130 points for using your Amex card on EDR - it is just a way of saying you will get rewards in both programs.

Thanks so much for your fast replies.
Worldtraveller 8888, at the moment our FF program only earns 1 point per $1 on the Amex.
Oz_Mark, glad you mentioned they are tracked separately ..makes sense now.
Cheers
