Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum.
My family and I are travelling on Hawaiian from HNL TO SYD with a luggage allowance of 32kg in each suitcase, total 64 kilos. From SYD TO MEL we are on a Jetstar flight with only 20kg allowance arriving into Avalon. I knwo that JQ charge about $15 per kg for excess baggage. The only way we can get our luggage home would be to send by Qantas freight from SYD to MEL. Does anyone have any suggestions other than the QF freight that would be economical. There are 6 people travelling with perhaps 2 cases each with 32kg ine ach case.

Thanks

Welcome to AFF, by QF freight do you mean AAE, I have found them very easy to deal with for similar issues and they have an unaccompanied bagage service, they also have the benefit of being next to the QF domestic terminal in SYD. You might also want to look at Greyhound freight, they are a short taxi ride from SYD and are economical.

Greyhound Freight is Australia's most affordable freight and parcel delivery service
