Hi all AFFs

Finally, I'm to be back in the air and off to Australia for a few weeks. Im taking my cousin with me and we're departing out of London (LHR) on QF10 to Melbourne (via Dubai (DXB) on QF010. After a very short stop; and all being well, its straight on to a domestic flight from Melbourne to Sydney on QF406. Has anyone turn the tight turn around between the International and Domestic segments?

In less than 24 hours after arriving in Sydney, it's on to Brisbane on QF 500.

I will be heading back to London though on 8 October 2008 on the following flights. Is anyone else going to be on the same services?

1. Brisbane to Sydney on QF008 (being the continuation of the DFW flight) on a 747-400. - 8 October 2013, departing at 6.30am
2. Sydney to London (LHR) via Dubai (DXB) on QF1 on A380 - 8 October 2013, departing at 16:50.

I'll have to make the most of the very long turn around in Sydney - so I've time to hop into town for a bite to eat and a wander before heading back to the International terminal.

At Melbourne from International to Domestic is a 3 minute walk

If LHR-MEL-SYD is one ticket (PNR) QF will put on the next flight if QF10 is late. Even if separate tickets would expect/hope QF will put on the next flight if QF10 is late. It they are separate tickets ask QF to put the information in the MEL-SYD ticket you are ex QF10. [Often erroneously called "link"]
