My daughter was booked on JQ from PER – SIN in a couple of weeks and paid for exit row seats with a confirmed seat no. (I am flying QF the next day and meeting her there and then continuing on EK).
Her flight was rescheduled from JQ to 3K via email saying that nothing else had changed. She rang to check that she still had exit row seating and was told that she did not. She asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused. When she asked again, she was cut off. So she rang back a little later and spoke to a different operator. This operator was very helpful and at first said that all the exit row seats had been allocated and the flight was full. After a short discussion with her supervisor, the operator reallocated exit row seats to her; still aisle seats but a different row.
I was wondering if any forum members know if she is guaranteed the exit row seating that she paid for and was confirmed once with JQ and then with 3K.
Are there any precautions she should take?
Should she get to the airport early?
If so, how early?
