I'm an EF newbie. I know you can set alerts when seats become available but can you set an alert when available fare seats are getting low?

I need to travel on a specific date from Hawaii to SFO and it happens to be the last weekend of a major US holiday.

There are seats available to buy at the moment but I'm holding off to see if any new award seats are released by HA in the next few months.

But because of the specific date I need to travel, I want to buy flights if the seats are getting filled.

Is it possible to use EF to track when available seats on a flight are getting low?

Not as far as I know, but that would be a handy enhancement.
OK thanks. I'll keep an eye on the loads.

Do you know if the EF seat maps are fairly accurate in showing how many seats are available on a flight?

In the flight alert query there is an option to select class and also less than. So if you selected a lower fare bucket in the class you are interested in then it would alert you to a reduction in availability of fare class for sale which could then be extrapolated to how full the flight is.

Seat maps are unreliable unless they are very fully selected as some strange people actually don’t select seats in advance

I often set an alert for "Y" or "J" fare bucket less than 7 or 9 depending on the carrier - this can indicate the cabin is really filling up.
