I'm having some issues with expert flyer and I'm wondering if it's common, or just me?

I'm PS, so at T-80 various new seats opened up for selection. The really good stuff stayed blocked at that time, however some opened up today at some point (T-48?).
I never got a seat alert and logging into EF shows the same seats available as at T-80.

I have had issues with AA recently where they can't see my status. I'm wondering if it's related and it's possibly a problem on QF's end?
Or maybe there's no issue and some small differences are normal?

What you are seeing is 'notional seat'.

E/F can only show discrete levels as provided to it by Amadeus - you are seeing an approximation.

However, with Qantas seat selection you are seeing what Altea supplies, which is essentially still Amadeus but had some additional tools that are employed by Qantas.

Ahh righto. So fare class, for example, might open up extra
seats over the norm?
Cheers for the details.
