Krisflyer has just notified me that 30% of my points are due to expire - but I couldn't fly anywhere for the past 2+ years.

What can I do?

Make a booking should work. My family are offering to use ours as they are redemption nominees.

Any points expiring in June are being automatically extended to December. Any points expiring in July-December will be extended by 6 months (including those already extended previously, so effectively points expiring this month will have their expiry extended to June next year).

They will be deducted and reinstated, as per this example:

They had a sale on Apple watches the other day. I had just enough points to buy one for my son. I now have 4 points left.
