Bangkok Airport (Suvarnabhumi International Airport) announced, effective immediately, ‘Fast Track’ Immigration, Security and Quarantine has been extended to eligible inbound passengers.

Qantas First, Business, Chairmans Lounge, Platinum and oneworld Emerald Frequent Flyers passengers arriving into Bangkok Airport on Qantas flight QF1 will be issued with a coupon onboard the aircraft by the Customer Service Manager (or designated cabin crew member) inviting them to use ‘Fast Track’.

The ‘Fast Track’ Coupon must be presented with relevant travel documents upon arrival at dedicated ‘Fast Track’, immigration, security and quarantine lanes.

They've had that scheme for a while now - nice to see that Qantas has hopped onboard.

Does it also apply for CX F passengers arriving from HKG?

Any outbound Fast Track for BA F passengers?

This has certainly not been the case for CX business class passengers or Oneworld Emeralds on CX business class flights arriving into BKK....

Oh well, looks like Mrs NM and I will have to queue with everyone else.

Not sure. There has been plenty of chatter @ Flyertalk in the Thai forum as well as the Thailand forums about various airlines signing up.

Eg:

FlyerTalk Forums - View Single Post - OT: BKK Arrivals

Fast track immigration at BKK is a paid service which individual airlines choose to subscribe to. TG offer it for F PAX as do LH. BA do not offer this service for J or F.

There are better threads about the service, but none I could find right now.

Will just have to rely on APEC card and hope they allow Mrs NM to accompany me through ;)

Just a quick ? and probably not the right forum, but since you mentioned APEC card, from the time you send in your application, how long does it generally take before you hear "something " back from them ? ie your application # ??? Sent mine in 3 weeks ago, but nothing yet..

You can be just as quickly through BKK airport and not need to rely on the APEC card most of the time.

Immigration could possibly take 10-15 minutes at most and even then you need to wait for the luggage to come off the flight in which time I exchange some AUD for THB while waiting and there is really no customs/quarantine to speak of unless you are really unlucky. I have been downstairs to the public taxi stand and Bell bus service in 30-45 minutes after the doors of the aircraft have opened and in that time have also managed to exchange currency, buy mobile sim top cards at the family mart/7 Eleven and fight off all the touts.
