Have VA always had a row 18 on the ATR72 on the left side? Just saw it on the seat map when I just checked in but don't recall seeing it recently when I went to CBR and there is no row 18 according to their official seat map on the the website.

Ooh! I hadn't thought of that!

Or a leased or recently acquired second hand -500. Google air Dolomiti ATR72-500 seat map - it has 2 seats in row 18.

I'll know soon enough tomorrow morning! ;)

From what I can find, VA fly a 68-seat version, Air Dolomiti flew a 66-seat version (half a row less) and the 72-600 model has 70-seats (half a row more). So dependent on how many seats you count... plus I'd imagine there'd have been a lot of fanfare had VA received a newer model.

Won't the 600's have a front door, not a rear one like the 500's?

I have always sat in the back row in 17 C. Just checked in for my flight to CBR tomorrow and have selected 18 C. Never seen it before either but when selecting seat I got a message that this aircraft loads through the rear door. Will see in the morning I guess.

Just had a quick look for photos and they paper to keep the front cargo door, not the passenger door, which is an option I thought?

And yes, always missing things ;)
