EY lounge access at CDG for Velocity Platinum Members

Not sure if I'm really posting in the right forum, but here goes:

I see that at CDG airport Etihad doesn't operate its own lounge but uses the American Airlines Admirals Club Lounge.

Would a Platinum Velocity member flying EY in Y be able to get access?

I was wondering if the arrangement might be something like the way the Air NZ lounge at Sydney operates in providing lounge facilities for a number of different carriers.

Etihad have actually just recently finished building their own lounge at CDG, which VA Platinum shiny card holders would have access to:

For future reference, you can see on the VA website all the international lounges you get access to at each level and ticket type (i.e. Plat, Gold. Business)

If you select Platinum from the drop down and then open the Etihad section, you will see that VA elites get access to (what I assume is almost) all etihad global partner lounges.

How does this scenario work:

ticketed on EY with an EY flight number but the itinerary says that the flight is operated by Air France for Etihad.

It's a wetlease rather than codeshare (Airlineroute.net says so but not enough posts for links yet) so AFAIK it's still 'operated by EY' for lounge/SC/points etc.

(Although this may be hope triumphing over sense as I'm booked on the silly thing in July as SG and was planning on checking out the lounges in AUH and CDG).
