My wife's points are being pooled to mine as of 9/2 but over 24 hours later still have not been transferred. Is this unusual?/ I thought points transfer would be instananeous.

I have checked pooling/details and is all good.

Any advice much appreciated.
cheers

Points earned prior to family pooling do not transfer......only ones earned after set up.

You could do a family transfer if she has points you wish to move to your account.

Ahhh, that explains it, thanks for the reply deejo77

Remember too, pooling points is not not instantaneous. If a family member is pooling points to another family member, then the points earn can sometimes take a few days to show up in the destination account. Points transfer, is a different thing. It is immediate and will show up as soon as you make the transaction.

pooling points should be Instantaneous … as soon as the activity hits the account it will show the details and points pooled to account xx_xx_ … the points – SC will then be in account xx_xx_ showing pooled from the original account

Points earned are pooled as often as an account is reviewed. Which is not instantaneous from the moment of earning them. And, as I said, this can sometimes take a few days to show up in an account, or as you put it "as soon as the activity hits the account".

Again - not instantaneous versus a points transfer, which is immediate.

OK, when earned points post to an account that is pooling to another accout it shows on both accounts as activity immediately.

However it may take several/some days between the when the activity (eg Flight) for the points to actually post.
