I have a family member with 1,500 points in their seldom used FF account.

Anyone got an opinion on whether I can transfer 5,000 points to their account now and then at a later stage transfer the 6,500 (1,500 + 5,000) points back to my account.

5000 points is the minimum transfer level for a family transfer which stops me from just transferring those 1,500 points to my account.

Ideas?

Only thing to remember is the limit to 1 family transfer per year per account. So just be careful if you may need for some other reason do a transfer in the same year from the account that has more points.

Done it before with no problems. Can do the 2 transfers, one after the other;)

I've done this points "cleanup" through a few family accounts a couple of time - funnily enough they all end up in my account; it's a well known fact that WP QFF points are generally more potent than SQ/PS/NB. :D

I am planning to do this at Christmas (subject to the sky falling post the July announcements ;)) as my family are visiting from overseas and the four of them wil earn me a tidy 8K of points :)
