I am planning trip to Dusseldorf o/a 08 Oct. 3 pax. Would like to book PE and wondering what alternatives are out there apart from BA routing via SIN / BKK and LHR for around aud4,300 each. I don't mind econ/biz combinations so long as QF ff points (and SCs) accrue.

Also, are there alternatives to hotel, say apartments, to suit 3 adults. Most hotels I have seen sleep 2 pax.

Lufthansa has a sale with fares from $4950 return (plus tax c. $750) in business.

No QFF points or SCs but it is half the price and you'll get *Alliance points.

Oops,,,that BA fare should read aud3,400 (i/o 4,300).

Thank you but I would prefer OW except as last resort.

Have you considered SYD-BKK on Jetstar biz and then a separate tix BKK-DUS? The choice in BKK is great and fares alot cheaper than buying from SYD. I did a random search on a non-Thai site (it's cheaper from Thai agency) and got prices starting from $A2200 r/t in biz.

Bookings made on BA/QF via BKK (on BA) in one direction, and return via HKG (with QF). Only regret is points cannot be used for upgrade with BA. Or, am I wrong on this?
