Given that this offer is released by MH, I'd assume the flights need to be taken in MH? which would reduce the earn rates for any Aus to Asia J flights to Flex Y rates?

You need to fly MH, and credit to Enrich.

The Qantas Frequent Flyer rules are irrelevant.
