FF Booking Singapore to coughet

I have been trying to place a test frequest flyer booking from Melbourne - Singapore - coughet mid next year which is 30,000 points. However the QANTAS site wont allow me to book as it says there arent any flights available. Does anyone know if FF bookings can be made on the Singapore - coughet leg as the points calculator indicates it is part of the program.

Guessing you will have to ring them as
the Singapore/coughet leg is Jetstar Asia.

I rand QFF today to regarding the booking and after checking with someone else the operator advised that I would need to book the flights over the phone. The catch is though, 8000 ff points penalty for booking on the phone.

Disappointing as I am trying to avoid flying JQ from Melbourne to coughet and it is 6000 points cheaper if flying Melb-Sing-cough. The 8000 points penalty stuffs it though.

Quoting a price and then not being able to deliver it is illegal, I would ring back and point this out as charging a fee on top of a quoted price in this situation is deceptive and misleading IMHO.
